The Students’ and Young Scientists’ Scientific Association’s International Conference for Students and Young Scientists was held in New Hospital on 30th of June.
The director of New Hospital Giorgi Ramishvili and the Dean of David Tvildiani Medical University Nino Tabagari opened the session with a welcome speech. During the session, Nata Japiashvili (Vice-rector Assistant in Strategic Management and Development of DTMU) and Paata Tsagareishvili (Vice-Dean in Medical Education) led the “Academic Integrity Session” which included the Moodle and TurnItIn program training. Also, the professor of DTMU, Veriko Mirtskhulava (Head of Scientific Research Department) read the lecture about the importance of scientific researches in students’ life. During the session, the guest speaker David Gurabanidze (Gagua Clinic) spoke about the importance of pregnancy and epigenetics. Afterwards, the participating students presented their scientific works and presentations about modern medical problems.
The president of SYSSA – Avtandil Kochiashvili closed the session. The vice-rector Sergo Tabagari awarded students with certificates. The best presentations authors get symbolic presents.
