Over the last few years, each November, people around the world unite in the fight against the world’s toughest cancer. Through combined efforts organizations from many countries bring greater attention, awareness, and better outcomes to this deadly disease.
This November, David Tvildiani Medical University students, academic and administrative personnel contributed to global awareness rising on pancreatic cancer by directly meeting people, informing them on related risk factors, early symptoms, epidemiology, diagnostic tools and other aspects of the problem. Specially produced flyers were distributed to people encountered at populous public places in Tbilisi.
We would like to mentioned, that this is the second year DTMU participates in pancreatic cancer awareness month activities.
