On May 4-6, 2017 Klaipeda University hosted ORPHEUS 12th conference.
Dean Nino Tabagari-Bregvadze, Vice-Rector Sergo Tabagari , Head of PR and Marketing department Mariam Dzabiradze and DTMU student Gegi Tvildiani participated in the conference.
DTMU students Aleksandre Asatiani and Mariam Jashi took part in organizing the conference.
ORPHEUS was established in April 2004 with a European Conference on Harmonization of PhD Programmes in Biomedicine and Health Sciences held in Zagrebi.
The delegates coming from 25 universities and from 16 European countries agreed that there was a need for European harmonization and they accepted “The Declaration of the European Conference on Harmonization of PhD Programmes in Medicine and Health Sciences”.
First conference was held in Zagrebi (Croatia ) and every year conference is hosted by different university and different countries.
13th ORPHEUS conference will be held in Iceland University.
