David Tvildiani Medical University’s Public Nursing College was founded in 2015.
The main aim of this College is to prepare highly qualified nurses, which Georgian medicine is very short of. Using its experience, reputation, and resources, the University has applied maximum effort to transform the existing education program- the legacy of the Soviet system- to most modern international standards by taking into account and adopting modern practices, innovations, and medical achievements. The current education curriculum meets all requirements of the Nursing licensing examinations of the western European countries and the USA, - NMCUK, GNC, DPSA, NCLEX.
After six years of successful operation, David Tvildiani Medical University’s Public Nursing College has been ranked first in Georgia in terms of graduation scores, after graduation employment and continuing studies in schools of higher education.
The Bachelor of Nursing professional education program encompasses three tears (180 credits), split equally between theory and practice.
The duration of education is 3 years.
Applicants for nursing courses are admitted into college after graduating from secondary school, based on state-facilitated examinations (with the exception of foreign citizens).
After completing the program and passing the certification exams, supervised by the Ministry of Education of Georgia, students are awarded a College Diploma, which is a license to practice Nursing in Georgia
The college has a solid record of successful cooperation with the most prominent healthcare facilities in Georgia, as well as a number of European countries, like Germany, Denmark, Lithuania, etc.
