February 19 is the Plagiarism Prevention Day. On this day societies from around the world hold events and act to raise awareness about plagiarism, once again analyze and discuss what it is and why does it matter for human development, research and innovation progress.
David Tvildiani Medical University, which was a consortium member in the European Union funded project “INTEGRITY”, would like to use this opportunity to point public attention to the global problem of plagiarism. In the attached video, which was a recorded as a contribution titled “Students’ Attitudes and Teachers’ Readiness to Write and Assess Academic Assignments” to the Association of Medical Schools in Europe (AMSE) Conference 2021, DTMU Assoc. Prof. Ilia Nadareishvili presents backgrounds and findings of a relevant study conducted at DTMU earlier in 2021.
