Fundamentals of Laparoscopy Surgery FLS
The course is intended for surgeons, surgical residents and 6th year MD students.
The course was awarded by the Professional Development Council of the Ministry of Internally Displaced persons From the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia,50 CME credits.
The purpose of the program is to provide the latest theoretical information about the basic topics of laparoscopic surgery and to teach practical skills (hand-on practice).
The course correlates with the program defined by the FLS curriculum. The FLS course is designed by the American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopy Society (SAGES) http://www.flsprogram.org and is recognized by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Association of Directors of Surgical Programs (APDS).
ļ¼ The program also aims to prepare participants for the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery (FLS) licensing exam.
