The First International Symposium on Cognitive Disorders in Georgia
“The First International Symposium on Cognitive Disorders in Georgia” was held on September 5-8, in Tbilisi Marriott, with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth and organized by Davit Tvildiani Medical University. This kind of conference is the first in Caucasus, it was held under the guidance of the European Society of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Care (ESAIC) and the Academy of Neurologists (EAN); Accredited by the Union of European Medical Specialties (UEMES) and the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). Materials will be published in a scientific journal such as Anesthesia & Analgesia.
At the symposium, the authors of the three best abstracts were identified and awarded:

2. Gunjan Mahesh Punyarthi
3. Giorgi Nebulishvili
Speakers at the conference were experts from leading universities of Australia, America and Europe, such as Sydney, Harvard, Cornell, Vanderbilt, Liverpool, Bonn and Magdeburg School of Medicine, Biology and Psychology. The purpose of the conference is to develop this direction in Georgia, to share information about the latest achievements and challenges and the results of modern research with the Georgian bio-medical and psychological community and establish clinical and scientific cooperation with different countries.
