Success of David Tvildiani Medical University Teams at Sim Games 2026
The student simulation competition Sim Games 2026 was held on July 4-5, 2026, at BAU International University, in Batumi, Georgia. The competition brought together seven teams from five universities across Georgia.
The competition included six simulation stations, where participants were assessed on skills in emergency medicine, trauma management, triage, cardiac arrest and arrhythmia management, as well as teamwork and clinical decision-making. Assessment was conducted according to standardized criteria from international BLS, ACLS, and PHTLS courses.
David Tvildiani Medical University (DTMU) was represented by two teams, both of which performed successfully. According to the final results, first place was awarded to DTMU’s team “Medea” (students: Mariam Mkheidze, Nino Chulukhadze, Saba Akhaladze, Giorgi Kapanadze; mentor – Grigol Rokhva), while third place was taken by DTMU’s team “Aieti” (students: Giorgi Beridze, Giorgi Eliashvili, Konstantine Gogiashvili, Luka Tsutsunava; mentor – Giorgi Kvitsinadze).
We congratulate our students and their mentors on this significant achievement. We also thank BAU International University for the excellent organization of the tournament and wish continued success to all participants.
