For 32 Years of operating, David Tvildiani University has become an International Medical Institution with students from more than 20 different countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and America. It has become a big family of young people of all religions, cultures and races.
Admission Process is simple:
- High school students from the 12th grade are eligible to apply for Pre-med or nursing school programs.
- High school graduates are eligible for MD Program after completing the pre-med program or passing an admission exam.
The Nursing School Program starts in September, and is held in the University Campus, in Tbilisi, Georgia. It takes 3 years to get the bachelor's degree and become eligible for NCLEX exams. Application documents have to be submitted before August 1st. There are no tests or exams needed to apply.
The Pre-med Program starts in March and September and takes 6 months to complete.
12th grade students and High school graduates are eligible to the Pre-med program. No tests or exams are needed. Application documents are to be submitted before February 1st for the Spring course or August 1st for the Fall course. A graduation exam is held upon completion of the course. The whole program, as well as the intermittent and graduation exam are held online. So, the students can complete the course while still studying in high school.
The MD Program starts in September and March. Students of the Pre-med program who pass the graduation exam are automatically admitted to the AIETI Medical School. MD curriculum is held in the University Campus in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Admission Exam is necessary for those who did not complete the Pre-med course.
The application documents must be submitted before February 1st for Spring course or August 1 for Fall course. Admission exam is held in the university campus appr. 7-10 days before the start of the Semester and consists of 100 multiple choice questions:
50 of General Biology, Cell Biology, Parasitology, Genetics;
and 50 in General, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry.

Other Required Documents
Following documents are to be submitted to complete application process:
1. Transcripts: official transcript from each school or other educational institution
attended; Official transcripts must be mailed directly from the
institution to DTMU US office.
Student-issued (unofficial) copies may suffice, pending receipt of the
official transcripts.
2. Personal Statement: Should be handwritten and include applicant's full name.
Length: 1 or 2 pages.
Tell us about how you came up with a decision to be a health
professional, your story, your hardships and accomplishments, your
hobbies and special interests. Send it together with your application to
DTMU US admission office.
3.Two letters of recommendation
At least one must be from a teacher/professor who has taught the applicant and is acquainted with the applicant’s academic ability.
4. Application fee of US $50.00
Send a check or money order, payable to DTMU. Do not send cash.

INTERVIEW
Once all the documents have been submitted, an online interview will be scheduled. The student will receive a letter confirming acceptance within 2-3 weeks along with further instructions to follow.
Students will be e-mailed an invoice at least 45 days before the beginning of each new semester.
Tuition payment for the coming Semester must be received in full by the due date, which usually is 8-10 days before the start of Semester.
If desired, an automatic payment plan can also be arranged starting from the second semester. In this case, all arrangements must be completed 45 days prior to the start of the semester.
The student will not be permitted to attend class until financial clearance is received. Payments should be made by cash, money order or wire transfer directly to the University. Details for wire transfer can be obtained at bursar office, or via e-mail: finance@dtmu.edu.ge
The Nursing School Curriculum is 3 years long and total tuition is $8400

The length of 1 semester of the Pre-med program is 6 months.
Tuition of $1800 should be received at least 10 days before the start of the course.
Admission exam (if needed)
Entering the MD Program without our pre-med courses requires passing an admission exam, which is held in the University campus 7-10 days before starting the first semester.
The price for the exam is $200, which in the event of passing will include an application fee of $50. In case of failure the application fee is not returned.
The tuition includes free use of the University Library, and all visual and audio aids and materials. The total tuition for 6 years of education is $48 000, which will remain without changes for students admitted in 2023.
